Record Emerging Markets Intelligence Team (REMIT)

We are looking for part-time analysts on emerging market countries. The countries we are interested in are: Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Hungary, Czech Republic, South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Taiwan. The post is for someone with an active interest in one or more of these countries, as well as a good grasp of the local language. The role involves producing weekly reports providing information and commentary on current affairs, as well as timely response to requests for information or analysis. We are especially keen to recruit post-graduate students and post-doctoral academics who are willing to commit to the role for a minimum of six months. The time commitment required is of 2 to 5 hours a week and analysts are paid at a rate of £15/ hour, with the possibility of a pay increase depending on performance, after demonstrating commitment to the project for a period of time.

Whilst an understanding of financial concepts may be helpful, we do not consider such an understanding to be essential. For further details please see the document attached.
