On The Record

At Record, we have always attached considerable importance to original research in areas that are relevant to us.  We have a dedicated in-house research team, which regularly produces research on hedging and currency for return strategies.

Our thematic research includes, for instance, thought-pieces on developments in the Eurozone and analysis on FX transaction costs.  The Quarterly Record includes a business update and performance commentary.  Some indication of the length and breadth of our research since Record was established can be found in the Collected Works, available on request.  

3rd April 2012 - Neil Record's proposed solution for the unwinding of the euro and resolution of the sovereign debt crisis was short-listed for the Wolfson Economics Prize. Neil's essay as well as that of another member of the Record team, James Mackenzie Smith, can be found under 'Thematic Research', and more details about the Wolfson Economics Prize can be found on the Policy Exchange website.
